Herbs & Plants Museum: A place filled with green aroma all year round
  • From the humble entrance reminiscent of a hut in a laid-back farm unfolds a vast and beautiful herbal garden. It is the Herbs & Plants Museum and S. Korea’s largest herbal garden with some 340 types of herbs and plants, which can take over one hour to tour for close observers.

Commonly found herbs, such as rosemary, apple mint, and lavender, as well as tropical trees and herbs that are hardly seen in Korea including rubber tree, bottle palm, and poinsettia (often used as Christmas trees) are all growing here.

  • At Herbal Hall and Tropical Hall is Sky Garden decorated with exotic flowers. Lamb’s ear, which is as soft as a lamb's earlobe, crown of thorns blooming amid its thorns, and bougainvillea, the bright red flower, are must-sees. There are benches in the rest area -- which serve as a photo zone as well -- prepared for those who could use a break.

The exit of Sky Garden is linked to Santa’s Village. To purchase any of the herbs or plants in the garden, go back to the entrance and shop at the store located on the left.
